Two times a year, the East Angelo Lions Club feed a chopped brisket sandwich meal for the children, teenagers, and staff at the House of Faith weekly meeting. The barbeque brisket comes from our brisket cooking project. The purpose of this project is to let them know that there are people willing to help them. The meal usually includes peach cobbler cooked in Dutch ovens and served with ice cream.
Our club also travels to Lake Brownwood each summer to feed the House of Faith campers and staff at thier Summer Camp.
