East Angelo Lions cook briskets 3 times a year:
The proceeds from the brisket sales will go to projects including funding eye exams and glasses for local individuals not able to pay for these on their own, feeding the kids at the Texas Lions camp and House of Faith summer camp, helping local Habitat for Humanity families, funding for the Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville (for physically disabled, hearing and/or vision impaired, and diabetic children from the State of Texas) and through other projects where Lions will be helping local individuals that are less fortunate and in need. The Lions motto is "We Serve".
The briskets will be better than any you've ever had unless you've previously had an East Angelo Lions brisket. Then it will be the same which is indescribable because they are sooooooooo GOOD. The cost per pound varies according to the cost of the brisket at the time the club places the order. The briskets usually weigh between 4 1/2 to 8 pounds cooked.
Your brisket(s) can be picked up and paid for at the parking lot on the west side of Holy Angels Catholic Church, between Oxford and Rutgers from 7:30 and 10:30 on the Saturday morning of the brisket cook.
If you want a brisket and will be out of town, please make arrangements for someone to pick it up for you. If you don't want one yourself, please consider buying one for a neighbor, friend, family member, someone less fortunate or a group like the Wesley Soup Kitchen, House of Faith, etc. We need your order by the Wednesday before the cook so we can place our brisket order.
If you would like to order one or more brisket(s), email the East Angelo Lions Club at:

e-mail orders must be confirmed by phone to complete the sale.
We are asking that you place your order a soon as possible, to ensure getting the smaller briskets. Because of this, we are having to order the briskets as early as possible so that we can fill all of our orders. We have room to cook 300 briskets, so if possible, please place your order early.
